Follow-Up to Last Week's Labor Question

After getting Linda's comment to my post from last week, I started doing some research on clothes to wear at the hospital. I found this company, Binsi, and am in LOVE with their stuff. However, I am NOT in love with their prices. Here's the skirt and here's the tank in which I am particularly interested. To all those who have done this before, what do you think? Any features that you do or don't like? Basically I want to know: should I spend my time copying their designs and creating my own or just suck it up and wear the hospital gowns?

I have heard when it reaches the point for the baby to come, you could care less what you are wearing. Very sexy butt by the way...looking good.

i didn't care during the whole birthing process what i was wearing. but afterwards, then is the time you want to feel good and cute. and you won't totally fit into your pre-pregnancy stuff (at least tops), so it would be a good investment to buy or make something "cute" for the couple days in the hospital - and at home. the cute skirt and top could be awesome for afterwards.

yes, looking good indeed.

I say just suck it up. You aren't going to be in the hospital that long. (Hopefully!) And everything will probably get ruined by either your own bodily fluids or Mr Mullets. I would wear something comfortable that won't matter if it gets ruined.

I personally wear the gowns the entire time. I thought I would want my own pj's but the gowns they have in l&d are different than regular gowns and do actually close up very well. They are also very easy for nursing and covering up. I do suggest a pair of those slipper socks, though, and a comfy robe.

It's all in what you are comfy in. I do not suggest wearing anything you like or have spent money on during labor because as Rachael says they will definitely get gunk on them.

Nice Ass! Sorry, I know this is serious business, but I just couldn't help myself. Besides have no advice on the subject.
