Mr. Mullet it is!

I would have posted a picture from the ultrasound yesterday, but I didn't want to scare anyone. Honestly, the face-on shot was just too Halloween-y. Thankfully, Mr. Mullet fully cooperated enough to let us confirm that he is, indeed, a he.

And we couldn't be happier.

P.S. Thanks to the ladies at Sew, Mama, Sew for posting my placemat tutorial. I am LOVING this 30 days of tutorials and have printed far more than I'll ever get to. It truly is an honor to be there with so many talented artists. And welcome to anyone visiting from there! I added the above link to why C and I are calling the fetus Mr. Mullet for now. Don't worry; it won't be that forever. But feel free to snoop around here and here, the place for most of my handmade stuff.

Yay for boys! They are so much fun. I do have moments where I look at my two boys and wonder, "Why are they doing that? Where did they even think of that?" Then I remember they are boys....Fun stuff!

Hey, I found your blog through the link on sewmamasew's christmas countdown. I love the placemat! I just thought I'd leave a little comment because I just glanced over a few of your posts and was thinking, "this girl could totally be mormon" and then I noticed on your archive the phrase "young women" and I just had to laugh. obviously, I'm LDS as well. :)

i came to learn how to make a placemat but now i just want to know where the baby name mullet came from, is it your maiden name?

emily--oooh, do tell cute miles that we'll consider it.

kristin---i updated the post so you can read all about the naming of Mr. Mullet. Hopefully you'll read it and realize i'm not as strange as it seems.
