1) Oh the humanity
2) For the love of humanity
Your response is:
a) I have heard both of them.
b) I've only heard one. (Do tell me which you've heard.)
c) I've never heard either.
d) What is she talking about?!
This is of grave import so please help. If you do, you'll make me as happy as a baby with paper.

Oh the humanity is the only one I have heard.
b - For the love of humanity is the only one I've heard.
I've heard them both. Thanks for asking. I love talking about language. I hope we get to figure out why you're asking very soon.
I have definately heard "oh the humanity", but "for the love of humanity" sounds a little familiar too.
I have heard Oh the humanity. I have never heard for the love of humanity but have heard several other for the love of_____(insert word here).
I'm with Ruth. I've heard "Oh, the humanity." But the other phrase I've only heard with a word other than "humanity": "For the love of pete" or somesuch.
I've never heard either, but if I had to pick one to say it would be, "For the love of humanity" for sure.
B. 2.
I've heard both - but i think "for the love of humanity" is kinda made up. Oh the Humanity was the hindenberg quote. And For the love is every mormon's favorite swear. Why not stick them together?
I've heard "Oh the humanity". As Gretchen mentioned, is a Hindenberg quote... and of course I always think of Newman saying it in one of my favorite Seinfeld episodes.
I must be out of things because I don't think I have specifically heard either...do I dare say that? I'm kind of scared now!
um, i've only heard "for the love" but no reference to humanity attached to it.
I have only ever heard A never B
I know I'm late on this, but the one I've heard is For the love of humanity...
i've heard oh the humanity. isn't it in the heart of darkness too? or is that just the horror, the horror?
I've heard both of them
