Poll Analysis and New Poll

Last week's poll made my job as a statistician quite easy. Everyone who is an oldest child thought that Dottie dropped the ball on purpose, while the sole youngest child responder (thanks sis!) thought it was debatable. This is exactly what I (and Daniel) thought would happen. Oldest children stick together. We watch out for our younger siblings...at least after we've made them box each other.

Now for the new poll: First tell me your gender and then tell me whether you think it's okay to bring reading material into a WORK bathroom. Thanks.

I don't think gender matters. It's never OK to bring work material into the bathroom with you. That's just gross. (but for purposes of the poll, female and NOT OK)

That being said, on TrueOfficeConfessions I saw some guy that told their boss that they had a stomach bug, while really they were in the bathroom reading Harry Potter. HAH!

Hell No! I had a boss who would take the magazines from the lobby into the bathroom and then return them. Sick!

Male and absolutely OK. The bathroom (work or otherwise) is for three things: Reading, and well, you know the other two...

I'm with Camie on this one, Hell No! That is just gross. In our house we have specific magazines that simply stay in the bathroom. I don't want those after you're done in there....

okay we all know how this one is going to turn out. I am female, and sick-o, gross, reading material is NOT FOR THE BATHROOM already!

male--it's a service to bring the sports page in there and leave it for the next guy. at least we aren't having conversations with the person in the next stall. that's weird.

Male and I don't have a problem with this. It's not as if you are using the pages of the book to wipe yourself. And I've only rubbed the book/pages onto the bathroom floor a couple of times.
Please, It's not like the book/paper/mag. is going to come out diseased simply for being in the bathroom. Just don't set it on anything and then start licking it.

Male...and I am all for reading material on the loo. I get many inspiring research ideas there.

DK! You surprise me. This from a guy who washes his hands before he even picks up a book and who I'm pretty sure once threatened someone's life if they dog-earred any of the pages of a book he lent them. I thought you had more respect for reading material.
