If All Summer Weekends in DC Were Like This...

...I wouldn't have to move. But alas, they are not. Most D.C. weekends include temperatures in the mid- to upper-90s, with humidity to match. However, this weekend was quite lovely. Highs were in the mid- to low-80s. We couldn't stay inside.

Is this Great Falls? Purty!

It was a pretty fantastic weekend. I feel bad that I didn't spend more time outside ... but i'm so programmed to be inside there didn't seem to be any time left for outdoors. (except for the fair, of course).

I sure wish some of that cooler weather would make it down here! I walked Evan to school this morning and got home drenched because of the humidity. I kept thinking, if we were out west it would be so nice to walk outside at 8 in the morning. . .

LOVELY............I know I don't have room to complain about humidity, but I do believe we've had something like 19 days over 100 degrees here, and plenty in the upper 90's...........I'm glad you got to enjoy the "mild" weekend.
